Kingdom Trails in Northeast Vermont is a multiple-use trail system unlike any other and recently voted as the BEST MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL NETWORK in North America by Bike Magazine in their annual Reader's Poll. Kingdom Trails was also the Editors' Choice in the 2011 edition of the Yankee Magazine Travel Guide to New England. The non-motorized trails are operated year-round with opportunities for all levels of ability.
Catamount is the Northeast Kingdom’s primary source of arts and culture. Catamount annually presents an extensive series of performances in the Art Center and at venues throughout Northern Vermont and New Hampshire bringing in nationally known touring artists as well as accomplished local performers.
Challenging terrain can be found at Burke Mountain, including 3 downhill trails from the summit. Lower on the mountain, you’ll find more of the singletrack trails that made Kingdom Trails so renowned. In 2010, we opened the Burke Bike Park, a gravity downhill trail system and park accessed by the Sherburne Express High Speed Quad.
The Jay Peak Pump House indoor waterpark is a place for well-earned leisure. A place to experience the mountain when the mountain may have beaten you momentarily. A place where you can surf, climb, float the Big River like a boss or sit out a rough day. A place where the movement of the water does more than keep you entertained. It actually moves you.
The Great Vermont Corn Maze is located on a family 3rd generation dairy farm in North Danville, VT. The Great Vermont Corn Maze creates an entirely new maze design every year and have added several NEW surprises as well.
Tour the granite quarry nearly 600' deep that was featured in the 2009 Star Trek® movie; at our Vermont factory, watch artisans carve stone. They'll inspire you to want to TRY IT by sandblasting your own stone souvenir.
Spring is sugaring time and the Sugar House is open for visitors to enjoy sugar on snow, served with a fresh donut. In summer, the farm hosts special craft and antique fairs, and the farm stand is open offering fresh fruits and vegetables. Enjoy the nature trail and foliage in the fall along with a maple creamie.
Nestled in the heart of the Green Mountains, the Ben & Jerry’s ice ceram factory sits on a rolling pasture overlooking the Worcester Range heading North from the town of Waterbury. The guided factory tours are fun and educational for all ages. Guests learn about the production process, enjoy picnics and outdoor activities, and of course enjoy fresh ice cream!
